Hi, I'm Andrew!
I am a seasoned software engineer with over a decade of experience building web-based products. Since 2010, I have specialized in developing robust payment and commerce infrastructure using my favorite technologies: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and Python. My career spans diverse environments, including small startups, large enterprises, and government organizations.
In addition to my industry work, I have taught programming bootcamps at various times throughout my career, where I have guided hundreds of aspiring developers in landing their first technical jobs.
When I am not on my computer, I spend my free time in the mountains with my wife, doing photography, and playing ice hockey and golf. I am also the father to a son who left this earth way too soon, and to a dog named Sadie.
